Çeşmeli–Kızkalesi Motorway Opens! ÜcretliYol Begins Route Integration Work

The 52-kilometre Çeşmeli–Kızkalesi Motorway, which is expected to improve transportation in Mersin, opened to traffic on October 19, 2026. As part of the Çeşmeli–Erdemli–Silifke–Taşucu Motorway Project, this new section provides drivers with an additional route to the tourism destinations west of Mersin.

The project, developed under the coordination of the General Directorate of Highways of Türkiye (KGM), consists of 41 kilometres of main motorway and 11 kilometres of connecting roads. The route includes grade-separated interchanges, tunnels, viaducts and toll collection facilities.

Toll Rates for the Motorway Have Been Published

The 2026 toll tariff for the Çeşmeli–Kızkalesi Motorway has been published by the General Directorate of Highways. The full tariff, with fees varying according to vehicle class and entry and exit points, is available in the official document below.

ÜcretliYol Has Started Work on the New Motorway

Following the opening of the new motorway, ÜcretliYol has begun work to integrate the route into its mapping and toll calculation systems.

However, newly opened roads may not become available in digital maps and navigation systems immediately. Updating map data sources such as OpenStreetMap, as well as the routing engines that use this data, can take time.

As a result, the Çeşmeli–Kızkalesi Motorway may not yet be correctly included in route searches on ÜcretliYol until the necessary map data and routing updates have been completed.

We Will Announce When Route Searches Become Available

Our team is continuing to verify the motorway's route and toll collection points and prepare the necessary data for integration into our toll calculation system.

Once the Çeşmeli–Kızkalesi Motorway becomes available for route and toll searches on ÜcretliYol, we will inform our users through a new announcement. Drivers will then be able to check the motorway's toll charges through our platform when planning their journeys.
